Hello,

Your daughter may be suffering from a PRIMARY MIGRAINE or another HEADACHE syndrome.

Her symptoms are certainly consistent with abdominal types of migraines if she is of the pediatric age group.

There are both ACUTE as well as PREVENTATIVE medication for her.

My advice is to seek at least a neurologist if not a HEADACHE specialist of a neurological type in order to be properly tested and have an appropriate management plan designed and implemented.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Dariush Saghafi, Neurologist
