What Causes Hallucinations In An Elderly Person?

hi....my mother aged 76 yrs...started hallucination from last one month. we did all general test of creatinine thyroid September etc wr we found low haemoglobin level so my doctor started tablet course...bt we didnt got satisfactory growth....so he suggested for blood infusion...we did dt nw her hemoglobin level become normal.. she don t hv sugar..

There are many things that may cause hallucinations in the older patients. It is good that she had her blood tests done.

She may need brain imaging. If she has memory problems, then it may be that the hallucinations are part of Dementia.
