What Causes Greyed Out Vision?

Hello, I'm a 65 year old male, when I woke up this morning, and was getting ready for work, I went in my closet to pick out a shirt, but all my shirts were grey, I was seeing in black and white only. This lasted for a few minutes, then it went away. How strange. This has ever happened before.

Hello! Welcome to HCM!

You have got problem of color blindness. For you every thing will look as black and white. It depends on stimulation of rods and cone at time this is compensated then temporarily you see all color other wise it is colorblind is congenital and hereditary but no one is completely colorblind it is always partial so at time you will see some of color. This is not strange but normal. Lantern test is more confirmatory then ishaharachart test.

Regards,
Dr. Ashok Kumar Dash, Ophthalmologist
