What Causes Dryness And Redness In The Eyes?
Hi for nearly 2 months my left eye has been red and dry. I have used natural tears, and the eye ointment at night, still red, sometimes painful, mostly one eye, my mouth has been dry, and I feel sometimes there is sort of a funny taste in my mouth. Seems like my hands and feet are unusually cold, too. Tests for Sjogrens is negative. Thoughts? Suggestions?

I had gone through the question and understand your concern
According to me , you have dry eye , that is causing these symptoms.
Although there are chances that you might be having filamentary keratitis.
I would advise you to use higher concentration of artificial tears , like 1% , and use ointment two times a day.
Also you should consult your ophthalmologist for any other condition or any other treatment
