What Causes Dizziness While On Prozac And Aricept?
My 93 old mother had a stroke two weeks ago and is in a physical therapy hospital. She is taking Aricept as well as a mild dose of Prozac. Everything is progressing well for someone her age. However she is complaining about dizziness, which the physical therapist says is impeding her ability to effectively participate in PT. Any suggestions

If this is the cerebral stroke then dizziness is the symptoms of it. Disturbances of blood circulation in cerebral area, vestibular area, postural dizziness, sometime some drug may cause the dizziness, severe dizziness demands the immediate medical attention but mild dizziness may be self limiting, last but not least it may be due to the age.
