What Causes Dizziness And Blackout?

Hi I'm a 20 year old female, I have had a persistent dry cough for about two weeks. Last night while I was out with friends I became dizzy, my eyesight went completely black and when I started to see again I saw a red hue until I recovered completely. This took about 30 seconds. There was no alcohol or drug use.

Hello
It seems from the history that you had an episode of dizziness and blackout of vision lasting for 30 seconds. This is a typical transient ischemic attack. The common causes to be ruled out are prodromal symptom of migraine or central retinal artery occlusion, carotid artery stenosis....
Hence this requires examination to find out the underlying cause.
Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.

Thank you
