What Causes Dark Urine, Fluctuating BP And Inability To Walk?
My mom has chef for quite a long time now. She is in an assisted living home now. Lots of sediment in her urine and it is dark also. She has a cath in all the time. Heart rate elevates and jumps around now. Blood pressure up and down weak and can barely walk. In A wheel chair when she is up. Oxygen all the time now. Extreme weight loss mom probably weighs 80 pounds or less now. Sleeps a lot. Started mottling some. Can you tell me anything Thank you Dorothy
Hello Welcome to Ask a Doctor Service I have reviewed your query and here is my advice. Urinary tract infection is such illness or disease which is more common in female particularly in old age and that needs to be ruled out, although you have not mentioned any obvious clinical symptoms here, I would advise to increase the water intake, encourage her for drinking water. Hope I have answered your query, let me know for further assistance.
