What Causes Cluster Of Red Bumps On The Torso?

My son has 3 small clusters of red bumps on his torso. It started with one cluster (of 3 bumps) last night and today there are 2 more clusters. They don t appear to bother him, he has a very slight temperature but overall he is just as active as usual. Should I be worried?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi ! Good morning. I am Dr Shareef answering your query.

The clusters of red bumps on the torso of your son could be due any insect bite or due to any kind of fungal skin infection. I would advise you to take him to a skin specialist in your area for a clinical assessment of the lesions if they persist or increase.

I hope this information would help you in discussing with your family physician/treating doctor in further management of your problem. Please do not hesitate to ask in case of any further doubts.

Thanks for choosing health care magic to clear doubts on your health problems. Wishing you an early recovery. Dr Shareef.
