Hi. I'm 37 weeks 3 days pregnant. I've been drinking water all day but every time I urinate its very cloudy. I have had cloudy urine first thing in the morning at times but usually by the 2nd time I urinate it has become clear. Today I have noticed the cloudy urine all 4 times I've urinated. Should I be concerned?
Hi, Thanks for asking. Based on your query, my opinion is as follows. 1. Cloudy urine is commonly seen due to proteinuria or urinary tract infection. 2. As it is seen four times, get your blood pressure evaluated to check for pre-eclampsia. 3. If blood pressure is normal, urine examination will be necessary to rule out infection. Take plenty of water. If infection is present, appropriate antibiotics would be necessary. Culture and sensitivity maybe necessary for identification of appropriate antibiotic. Hope it helps. Any further queries, happy to help again.
