What Causes Burning Sensation While Urinating?

my 7yr old daughter have been complaining about burning when she urinates. her vagina is very red and chafed. i ve been putting A&D ointment on it for weeks, still chaffed. yes, she wears cotton under., no soap in bath. she has CP and doesn t walk, could that have anything to do with it?

Hello,

The urinary tract infection has to be ruled out in her case.

For that urine routine microscopic examination has to be done for primary work up to check for the presence of pus cells and bacteria.

You can revert back with reports once done.

Meanwhile, continue lots of water drinking and avoid excess spicy foods intake.
