What Causes Burning Sensation In The Eyes?

My eyes have been burning lately, sensitive to light, dried up tears (salty crust ) forming under eyes. I live in Dubuque Iowa. weather has been inconsistent lately. I am not sure if it is an allergy issue, but it has become a real issue. very sensitive in sunlight. both eyes. started drops with systane ultra. just one drop each eye so far with no relief. I am travelling tomorrow -suggestions?

You continue using systane ultra but you can add some naphazoline eye drops also. wear sunglasses it helps. avoid dust and dirt.
