Hi
Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. Burning sensation during urination is most likely due to urinary infection. A urine routine analysis should be carried out to rule out that. If there is signs of infection like increasing of puss cells in urine i usually start antibiotics like norfloxacin empirically in my patients. Then i send urine for culture and change antibiotic if necessary after culture report. I also recommend them to take potassium citrate to alkalize urine. Cranberry juice or barley water also will be helpful. Hope this may help you.
Let me know if you have any further queries.
