What Causes Brain Fog And Memory Loss At An Elderly Age?

My husband is 74 1/2 and is starting to show more signs of poor driving judgement, some brain fog and forgetfulness, and inability to task and focus from time to time. He is otherwise healthy, takes no Rx and has normal results on all blood work each annual. He has some balance issues and response issues and has fallen numerous times in the past five years. Our family practitioner has recommended that he see a neurologist but there is not one in the ARC group. We live in Pflugerville but would be happy to see someone in Round Rock or Georgetown who works with these issues. We have excellent insurance coverage thru Humana Medicare Advantage thru our state ERS retirement .
