What Causes Blood Shot Eyes?

I just noticed that the inner half of my left eye is covered in blood. It was fine at 7 pm!! Nothing happened to it, my vision seems ok and it doesn t hurt. The only thing unusual this evening was that I sneezed very hard twice. Could I have burst a blood vessel? How should I treat it?

Hello,

You are most probably right. It must have been the sneeze that did it. But if you feel it is not clearing, do check your blood pressure.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Geeta Sundar
