What Causes Blood In Urine?

With the last 24 hours my urine has a red tint to it. What could be the cause(s)? Note: I have PSC and UC. Both were diagnosed 20+ years ago. Both became very active May, 2014. During the last 4 years I ve been taking several meds for several different symptoms.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Urine with a red tint may be many things. It is difficult to conclude if it is related to your PSC/UC. A urinalysis will help determine the reason.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
