What Causes Blood In The Urine?

One night I woke up, then suddenly I noticed my skinhead red with irritation. Afterwards, I went to pee and it did hurt from the inside. Later, that same day I went to work and after maybe 2 hours I began to feel dizzy and I got a bad headache. Finally, the next morning I began to pee blood for the first time in my life. I don't know what has caused this or what is what I have.

Geriatrics Specialist 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for asking.
Based on your clinical history and query, my opinion is as follows:
1. It appears to be hemolysis due to purpura leading to irritation of skin due increased bile salts.
2. Hemolysis has led to anemia and to dizziness.
3. Due to intravascular hemolysis, hemoglobinuria is noted, which is red in color.
4. Meet an hematologist at the earliest.

Hope it helps.
Any further queries, happy to help again.
