What Causes Blood Clots In Urine?

I had blood in my urine and had a smarting sensation when passing urine. A few small clots too. The scan said a mild fullness in the left kidney. Everything else in the USS KUB was normal. I don t feel unwell either. The urine report said red cells over 100. And urobilinogen slightly elevated. What s wrong .
