What Causes Abnormal Urine Post Movicol Intake?

I had a major op on Monday 13 Nov and hadn t opened my bowels by the 27 Nov. Went to hospital as couldn t wee. Wanted to avoid catheterisation as suffer with interstitial cystitis but had to be. Was given enema and movicol and prophylactic trimethoprim. Irvine looks like it has oily dots in it and I feel v warm and feel the familiar dull ache in my bladder. Am petrified it s a urine infection and the antibiotics r not the right ones. Can movicol make ur urine look funny? If not should I go back hospital.I m so scared. Thank you

* As per my surgical experience, the movicol routinely does not alter the urine color but in certain cases if proper hydration is not maintained and there is alteration in the fluid electrolyte balance of the body then urine pH can be altered giving funny color to urine.
