What Causes A Pricking Sensation And Red Spot In The Eye?
I have had a slight red spot on my right eye ball since last May. I was in Russia at the time and since it didn't hurt and only flared up when I wore my contacts, I didn't think it was a huge problem. But today, I have had a pricking sensation in the eye. Thank you.

It seems from the history that you are having redness of eyes associated with pricking sensation.
Since you are wearing contact lenses, contact lens induced or related infection need to be ruled out.
The treatment is by use of antibiotics eye drops.
The use of contact lenses should be avoided till the symptoms are relieved.
