General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As per my surgical experience, this is hematoma formation at the injury site.

Primary working guidelines are:
- Ice application over the part 3 times a day.
- Keep the foot elevated over 3 pillows when resting.
- Prescription of anti-inflammatory and antibiotic medicines with your family doctor for better healing.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel
