What Causes A Mass On Eye Ball With Slight Discomfort?

My mom has a mass on her eye ball that has been watched by an opthamologist. It is the size of your pinky finger nail and has turned from clear in color to salmon in color. She has been told to see a specialist. Worst case ocular lymphoma. SHe has no symptoms except for the slight discomfort of her eye.

if it is on eye lid then it can be kalazion but on eye ball then it ca be a tumor for which MRI is to be taken and consult eye specialist for examination and diagnosis. visual acuity be recorded and fundus examination should be done.
