What Causes A Bump On The External Side Of The Ear?
Hi My 11year Old son as a bump on the top outside area of the ear. He has had this bump for at least 6 months. It looks to be the size of a pea and has not changed in size over this time. It is white with some black discoloration and said it does not hurt when touched. It used to be a hard bump but seems like it has gotten softer and perhaps has pus in it. I have not popped it and he seems to leave it alone. What do you think this could be?

He may have some infected sebaceous cyst or some infection benign cyst. You should go for excision ot that lump. No need to worry. It is a simple lesion.
