What Causes A Bulging And Sore Vein On The Elbow?
I have what appears to be a bulging vein about an inch down from my elbo. It is a bit sore when pressed on. I thought I may have just bagged it some how but it's been a couple of months now and there is no change. Any idea on what this could possibly be? I am a healthy 40 year old female who weighs approx 134.

I reviewed facts of your query in context to your health issues.
My Opinion-
In My opinion, in the given situation you seem to suffer from-TOS-V(Thorasic Outlet Syndrome-Venous obstruction) causing bulged/tender veins above elbow.It has not resolved in last 4- mths and hence worried.
Other causes need to be ruled out.This would require Consults with Surgeon / Vascular / Thorasic -Chest Surgeon.
This bulged out vein could also be from any OP taken by you/ or high cholesterol problems, and TOS-V could be just aggravating/distracting factor in your case.
Do' Suggested-
Consult with Chest Surgeon and get CT Chest and USG upper arm / elbow area in question.
You would need decompression of Venous obstruction by planned Surgery at expert's hand.
Next appointment-
After 2 weeks to review treatment for existing stomach problem .
If you update more information/ details upon these suggestions,I would give further suggestions on medicines to correct your health issues.
