What Causes A Black Circle In Vision After Taking Avastin Eye Injection?

Today I had an avastin eye injection for the first time in my left eye....I do see a round black circle, approximately size of a nickel. Will it disappear possible overnight, or shall I contact the eye Dr.? I appreciate any information and your patience.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

It will disappear overnight so, wait and observe. It is given to wet type of macular degeneration or edema. There is no guaranteed outcome. It is only in trial stage.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ashok Kumar Dash
