Hi,I am Neethu Vipin (Dietitian & Nutritionist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been gaining weight gradually and not increased calories but started working out at the gym 4 days a week since April 1st. I had an heart ultrasound, all lab work, and an ultrasound of my abdomen and all came back fine. I am sweeping, have a very tight abdomen at the top. It just doesn t make sense.

Internal Medicine Specialist, Dr. Ivo Ditah's Response
Hi and thank you so much for this query.
Please, I don't really understand what you mean by a tight abdomen. Is it related to the your dress type or it is a dull sensation that you do not know what it is? I will suggest that you reword this question for best response. If this is something that happened just today, then it would be necessary to observe for a while and only get aggressive should this persist. With lab tests which are normal including a heart ultrasound, you sound have a cool head and know this is not life threatening and requires no emergency action.
I hope this addresses your query fully. I wish you well. Feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.
