What Can Cause Swelling Around The Navel And Pain Below The Ribcage?
I have swollen abdomen around belly button, about 5in diameter and moderate to severe pain bellow ribs and lower back. also have indentation on left below ribs about 1in deep. Had gallbladder removed last year. are they connected or what could cause this?

Hi,
Please understand that this is not related to gallbladder directly.
I advise you to undergo X-ray lumbar spine AP and lateral view to rule out lumbar spine disease.
Also get ultrasound abdomen to rule out any pancreatic disease.
