What Can Cause Pain In The Chest And Back Along With Elevated Pulse Rate After Recovering From Typhoid?

I had typhoid and malaria in Feb and since then I have been having chest(left side) and back ache including rapid pulse.My doctor said I have ulcer but I still want to be sure because my stomach doesn t pain me at all.Please what do you think is wrong and what can I do about it?

Hello,

If acid reflux and stomach area pain not present than chance of gastric ulcer is less. But if these symptoms associated than antacid can be prescribed for that. You can investigate further with chest X-ray and EKG if needed. If you have any history of gastric ulcer like pathology than mention it.
