Hi,

I don’t think it is because of the cataract surgery. Flickering is usually caused by muscles over action which happens due to less sleep or increased sleep. It could also be due to muscle fatigue due to another reasons or even nerve involvement. If it doesn’t go away in a week then maybe you should reschedule the appointment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Harshita
