yes. Like I said. Whenever I train, especially running, My stomach gets painfully distended. I have done the ironman 8 times and have never felt this type of discomfort before. It hinders my training. My legs are not tired, but I cannot get past the feeling in my stomach.
Stomach cramps while running can be painful and distracting. You may feel a sharp pain in your abdomen or the discomfort may be located higher--usually on your right side, under your ribs--and is called a side stitch.
So avoid running within four hours after food. avoid high fibre diet before avoid salads, cereals before running. Do not drink a large amount of water before running. Take liquids in small amounts, such as two swallows, before and during the workout.
Decrease your pace for a few minutes if stomach cramps strike, then breathe deeply and regularly. Stretching well before running may help you avoid stomach cramps.
If symptoms not improved please consult your physician he will examine and treat you accordingly.
