What Can Be The Reason For Tingling Feeling While Urinating?
uMy husband told me either yesterday or the day before that when he urinates, he gets a tingly feeling in his penis. We have not had sex in about a week and a half so I don t believe it would be from that. He says he does not have to pee more frequently than usual, and doesn t feel like he has to either. What could be the cause of this issue? I have suggested going to the dr, but I think he is embarrassed to go...
Odd sensations like tingling/burning/pain during micturition usually indicates UTI (urinary tract infection). This may also be associated with other symptoms like nausea, lower abdominal discomfort, increased frequency of urination etc.
After confirming the diagnosis with a urine routine test, this can be treated with antibiotics like cefixime/norfloxacin. Your doctor will guide you in this. Meanwhile, drink enough oral fluids.
