What Are The Symptoms Of Conjunctivitis?

I've had a cold for a couple of weeks. Last week my eyes started getting red and uncomfortable and I felt like I was looking through a haze. I read about viral conjunctivitis and have waited a week, but they don't seem better. Should I see a doctor now or wait longer.
Thank you for your help.
