What Are The Chances Of Getting Infected With Herpes After Unprotected Intercourse?

Me and my boyfriend had sex when I began to have my first herpes outbreak, his dick directly touched one of my sores (I just found out I have this yesterday) and we have had unprotected sex atleast 100 times. What are his chances of having herpes now?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

As per your case history, my advice is -
1. There is definitely possibility of herpes infection through unprotected sex.
2. It is better to use a barrier contraception during active herpes infection. 3. Apply a mild antibiotic cream like Fusiderm cream.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
