What Are The Chances Of HIV Transmission After Non Penetrative Sex?
Doctor I have 2 questions on hiv, First was my non sexual encounter with a gal of unknow status. But gal has multiple partners. The encounter was humping (rubbing each other personal parts with undergarments on(both of us) for max 2 minutes. Is transmission possible thru cloth. No visible fluid on penis but the cloth could have maid the penis moist and also touched the urethra. Also after say one minute I touched my garment and then to my penis. Second was the visit to a govt hospital where unknowingly I may have touched any dry blood on the table and then without washing my hands rubbed my eyes vigorusly and also cleaned my nose. Is there a risk from dry blood of an infected person
Hi, dear I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. In both cases, you have almost nil chance of getting hiv infection. Hiv can not spread clothes and hiv virus can not survive out side the body environment for long time. So infection can not spread from dried blood. No need to worry dear. Hope I have answered your question, if you have doubt then I will be happy to answer. Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health.
