This may be a weird question but, for some reason

This may be a weird question but, for some reason when I am eating sometimes, I taste something different from the foods I am actually eating. For example, I was eating a poutine the other day and it weirdly made me think of goldfish crackers, and then when I was eating chicken the night after, the skin to me tasted like fruit loops. And just now when i ate a slice of bread it tasted like captain crunch cereal. None of my family members could taste the same thing and just tasted the regular food product. Is there a reason this could be happening. I know this is a weird question but I’m just curious as to why this might happen

I don t know if I have diabetes, so I bought a glucose monitor as I ve been having some symptoms. I hadn t eaten since 4am, I took the test later that day at 7pm. It was 96, apparently close enough to some doctors to consider diabetic according to a couple websites. This especially high for not haven eaten for over 12 hours. The weird part: a little after an hour of eating it was 94, then 20 minutes later its 93. Why is my blood sugar extremely slowly dropping after eating? Shouldn t it RISE after eating? I looked online and I don t think it d be hypoglycemia because usually it ll spike after a meal than drop drastically. Any ideas anyone? ((Please, no go see a doc comments as I have no healthcare currently. I also don t want a possible official record of diabetes in my health record as it ll raise my health insurance rates when I go to apply. Thanks everyone for the help!))

Hi! My dtr is 14 yo and does competitive cheerleading. Today she started seeing black moving spots all over her homework paper, these spots lasted several minutes. She also had a slight headache and after the spots were gone she said she just felt weird (like lightheaded? but couldnt really explain it). Once I started questioning her about it she said in one of her classes today at school she felt really weird (again not really being able to explain it). After thinking back to her practice last night, we remembered her getting hit in the head 3 times during practice. She then told me that she forgot to tell me she got a headache after getting hit and then when tumbling after that she would become lightheaded. Should I be concerned enough to take her to get checked or is it appropriate to just keep an eye on her and limit her for a little while? Thanks
