Temporary Vision Loss. Taken Amitriptyline For Migraine Treatment. Is This Cause Of Vision Problem?

I have a very good friend how is experiencing ( we hope ) some temporary vision loss, her first experience lasted about 30 hours a few weeks ago.
She is taking (Elavil) Amitriptyline, recommended by her doctor about 24 months ago to deal with migraines. Dosage 10mg --- is it possible this is the cause for the vision impairment?

Temporary loss of vision could itself be with Migraine.
How ever Hypertension, Transient Ischemic atrtacks are the possible other causes.
All these to be rouled out by physician.
Physician may go for some relevant investigation like blood sugar. KFT ,LFT.Ctscan Head etc.
