Urologist 's  Response
Hello and welcome to HCM.
Your concern is understandable.
Urinary infection is diagnosed after doing an urine routine and culture test.
As an Urologist, your CT-scan report and films may be sent to me for an expert opinion, as kidney spam is not in Urology dictionary.!!
As you have severe pain on one flank, due to a stone, or some other condition, it's spasm, which is treated with pain killer medicines.
It can be treated with anti-spasmodics, which your doctor will give you.
Get well soon.
