Suggest Treatment For Swollen And Painful Caruncle

It appears that my caruncle is swollen. Its very obvious when i open my lower eye lid. My inner eye slightly aches from it. This just occurred today at around 2pm. Not sure what the cause of it is. Is it anything that needs antibiotics or will it heal on its own?
