I got a yeast infection last week. It s only the second one I ve ever had, the first one over 12 years ago. I m sure now that I let it go longer than I should have before I called my Dr. She called me in meds - I ve had 2 cycles of the 2-day stuff. The yeast infection (itching, discharge) is cleared up, however when I had it, I tried so hard not to - but I itched it too much. Now I have cuts on the top and raw areas from there on down. They are just as sore as the itching was bad! I have been keeping it clean, as dry as possible, and wearing loose clothes as much as I can. I feel like the yeast infection is totally cleared up, but my husband says it still looks like there are patches, particularly more down around the vaginal opening. Is it because that area is a moist area anyway, and won t heal with scabs .....and that it is healing? The cuts are feeling alot better every day, so i know that it s all healing.
