My knee has been hurting for the past six weeks or so but it has been manageable pain so I just left it alone. Lately it has been getting worse. A few days ago I went hiking up the mountain and I fell down and it hurt worse. When I got home I bent my knee and heard a popping noise that wasn't like a normal popping noise. It has hurt really bad since then. Last week I made an appointment with a orthopedic doctor but my appointment isn't until December 2. I was wondering if I should try to see another doctor sooner or if waiting until December was ok. Also what can I do to try and lessen the pain. Thank You for any help.
