Suggest Treatment For Lump In Throat

Got hit in wind pipe with someone s fist while messing around. Heard/felt a crack and was concerned at first. It feels like a little bit of a lump in my throat and like there s been some phlem in my throat since then. I can swallow fine, and breathing is ok. Should I be concerned?

Hi, when was the injury?
As long as you dont have breathing or swallowing problems I believe there should be nothing to worry about. The lump would be a blood clot under hte skin wherever you got maximum impact. You can apply warm compresses or hot foamentation with water to feel better. If it does not go away in two weeks time you should get it examined by a Doctor.
Take care,
Dr Rishi, New Delhi, India.
