Suggest Treatment For Insomnia In Elderly Woman

My mother is 52 years old and facing severe restlessness. Complaining that cant feel her legs and they might fly . Hasnt slept in 5 days even after administering strong sleep inducing pills. Keeps saying that her mind is awake. Please help.Electrolytes normal. BP, Sugar normal.

She may have restless leg syndrome. She should be evaluated for iron deficiency is a potential association. Nonpharmacologic treatments include leg massage, avoiding stimulants such as caffeine, and exercising. There are prescription medications that can be used to treat this as well.
