Sorry that you have this genetic disease. It is unfortunate that this genetic disease does not have definitive treatment like many other genetic disease.
There are many experimental therapies but are not optimistic now.
But there are good ocular rehabilitation therapies which are very effective in managing with available vision. Don't be disheartened, accept the condition and go for good rehabilitation you will do much better and feel better.
