Suggest Treatment For Headache After An Injury

Hi, my 29 hear old brother was wakeboarding a couple of days ago, and hit his head bad. He has had a headache ever since it happening... I have heard of brain bleeds happening slowly, causing headaches mild syptoms at first, then end up alot more serious. What do you suggest ?

Hi,

First of all, if he had intracranial bleeding, he would have a coma within 24 hours. Your brother should do CT Brain to ensure that he has not a focal brain lesion. Then he can take a pain killer such as Panadol and he should have bed rest for 3-4 days.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dr/Mustafa, Neurologist
