Hello,
Welcome to HCM,

The treatment for H.Pylori is a triple regimen which include a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) and two antibiotics.

If the doctor has given you these and you had taken them regularly, then you probably do not have it.

The way to make sure that it is gone is to do a urea breath test after a month of the treatment.

If your pain recurred after drinking alcohol, it is probably due to alcohol induced gastritis and not H.Pylori.

So my suggestion would be to do a urea breath test and if it is negative, keep off alcohol and take a PPI for 1 month to help the gastritis heal.
Thank you.
