Suggest Treatment For Fatigue And Joints Pain

I am feeling fatigued and could sleep 12 hours, wake up for a few minutes and go back to sleep for 12 hours and still feel tired. I have joint pain and swelling especially in my shoulders, elbows and knees and sometimes my feet. I was hospitalized in August and have not gotten back to normal since then. They did not find a cause for my hospitalization. So it was determined that I could have possibly had pneumonia since I had the flu last year. I am an insulin dependent diabetic and also take blood pressure meds even though I have never had high blood pressure. Would this still be pneumonia symptoms or something else. It s been 8 months. Thank you for your help in advance.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

As per my clinical experience, this indicates underlying systemic issue from hormone imbalance, auto immune disorder or others. I recommend to maintain hydration with plenty of liquids and consult with all reports as an attachment in follow up.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
