Suggest Treatment For Dizziness And Lightheadedness
Hello. I ve been unwell recently where I keep feeling dizzy n lightheaded like I m going to faint. I ve had blood work done n all my results were normal. The only thing they did find was my heart beat was 58beats. They put it down to me being active, but for the last 6months I ve hardly trained. As in I ve trained an hr a week. Before I had my ECG I power walked to the hosp because it was some distance I didn t even wait I went straight in. And before all this I had trouble breathing with cardio. I don t have asthma but I was given an inhaler to help. The ECG technician said I should have another ECG on a treadmill but my doc wasn t interested until I had my blood results back. What s your opinion on this?

General & Family Physician, Dr. Dr. Ali's Response
hi! thanks for consulting HCM. as far as your lightheadedness is concerned it is not related to slow pulse if your Blood Pressure is within normal range. get your BP checked too. i think your doctor wasnt interested in Exercise Tolerance Test because your ECG was okay. and you are okay and fine too. :) even if you are not satisfied you can go for a chest x-ray it will reveal the status of your lungs or any cardiomegaly if present. have a nice day.
