Suggest Treatment For Cramps

Hi, My name is Ken, I am 55 years of age, non smoker non drinker about 10 kilos overweight. General health is good and has always been good. Asthmatic in my early years but grew out of it for the most part.

Experienced an unusual pain/cramp I have never had before.. My soft palate and possibly surrounding tissue seemed to cramp last night before going to bed. It felt like the whole middle part of my head was involved, bottom part of my sinuses, soft palate, back of the throat, TMJ muscles etc. It didn't effect my tongue and didn't seem to involve the brain. No vision disturbance or dizziness etc. It lasted about 10 - 15 minutes and I have a bit of residual pain similar to the pain I sometimes experience after a calf muscle cramp which dissipates in time.

Would appreciate any help with what this may be and if it needs to be investigated. Thanks Ken

Hi Dear !! Thanks for your query to HCM .
Read and reviewed your query and health concerns.
IN the given situation of Yours, seem to suffer from-diabetes induced neuropathy with cramplike pains.
Check for Serum potassium,Consult with Physician, and take needful micronutrients like magnesium, calcium, iron, bplex, selenium, zinc etc.
Good diet with enough hydration/ 8 hrs sleep, would resolve the cramps.
Other causes-of cramps need to be investigated with Second opinion from Physician.
This plan would reduce your dilemma with burning sensation in arms.
