i am having astigmatism lenses cataract on tuesday, do they put a towel over my face, with a hole in it for the left yee surgery, and if so, i am terrible with anything over my face, will they give me something to ease this and i won t know what theyre doing, and its ok, for i trust them. the doctors that is, i really don t want to be awake for that reason only or must i be awake to tell them if i am in pain.

what information you have gathered about surgery is corect. that is the surgical procedure to put sterilised towel on your face with a hole over eye to be operated. this is done for your sfty. you need not see any thing during surgery. you should coperate for succesful surgery.
