hello, I have completed my NSU course of 10 days with Doxycycline 100mg. i still feel some burning sensation the pain is mild i dont usually have discharge and whenever it happenes in morning its colurless, pls advice, what to be done, shall i continue to take medicene

Even after 10 days of doxycycline therapy, if you have burning sensation, probably you are having resistant urinary tract infection. 2. You need to get a repeat urine examination and for the urine sample, culture and sensitivity test is necessary. 3. Stop Doxycycline. Until reports of sensitivity come, another first line UTI therapy drug like nitrofurantoin or ofloxacin needs to be added. After sensitivity tests, appropriate antibiotic needs to be added. 4.
