Suggest Treatment For Burning Sensation While Urinating.

Dear Dr.I am 45y/m. I feel a burning sensation in urethra after urination but not feel every day.But when I feel burning sensation after urination I take alot of water and after 2/3 times urination it goes away.One thing i notice that if don"t take bath2/3days an then when I bath Or If I dont take much water it happens And after taking alot of water 2/3 times urination it goes.First time it happens 1or2 times monthely but now it happens frequently. Give me some advice

Thanks for writing to HCM

You may be suffering from urinary tract infection(UTI).
You need clinical correlation and few investigations.
You need investigations like routine hemogram,renal function test,Urine culture and sensitivity and Ultrasound of abdomen. Further investigations can be done if needed.
You may need antibiotics after culture and sensitivity report.
You should drink lot of water.

Ultrasound is important in your case,it can screen probable causes.
